MAVINN Brand Story

The MAVINN Brand Story Starts in a Bangkok Ring

MAVINN was founded in 2016 and has spent a decade building professional fighters in Thailand. The brand story runs outward from the ring rather than from a design studio, which is why the equipment came first and the clothing followed.

Today MAVINN is a Muay Thai equipment brand from Bangkok producing gloves, shorts, pads, shin guards, and training gear for fighters and gyms worldwide. The range covers 91 products across both sides of the brand.

BORN IN THAILAND is the line the brand carries on its products, and it is a statement of origin rather than a slogan. Everything is designed for gyms that train daily in Thai heat and humidity, which is a harder standard than gear made for lighter use.

Equipment Built for Daily Gym Use

The equipment side is built around premium Micro Fiber leather, which MAVINN uses across gloves, Thai pads, focus mitts, shields, and shin guards. The material handles sweat and humidity better than the alternatives, and that matters more in Bangkok than any specification on a label.

High density padding runs through the pad and shield range. MAVINN specifies it as reducing rebound and improving safety during heavy training, which is written for trainers holding ten rounds a day rather than for someone using a pad twice a week.

The glove line covers three material builds. Micro Fiber for humidity, paper leather for a firmer feel, and premium leather for the longest service life with proper care.

Apparel That Carries the Same Standard

The clothing came from the same place as the equipment. Training jerseys and shorts use premium Polyester, specified as breathable and quick drying for continuous use, with an athletic fit built for intense and dynamic movement.

The street side runs on 100% cotton, cut oversized and finished in a mostly black palette. Some pieces carry reflective print work built up in several layers, and the fighter editions are tied to named MAVINN fighters rather than to a graphic chosen for a season.

Fight shorts sit between the two in premium satin, chosen for a smooth texture and a lightweight feel in the ring.

What Ties the Range Together

Every part of MAVINN answers the same question, which is what survives a full training week in Thailand.

  • Materials chosen for humidity first, since gear that never dries is gear that fails early
  • Construction rated for continuous use in professional gyms and training camps
  • Equipment and apparel from one brand, so a kit reads as a set rather than a collection of logos
  • Design kept plain, with the BORN IN THAILAND line doing the talking
  • Stores in Bangkok and Pattaya alongside the online range

MAVINN grew from the ring outward and the products still show it. The pads were made because fighters needed them, and the clothing exists because the people wearing the pads wanted something to put on afterwards.
